What material is the AQUATEK tray made from?
Our trays are made from high-quality, durable plastic engineered for hydroponic use.
Is the tray reusable?
Yes! Each tray can be reused for over 10+ cycles with proper care.
What size and types of medium are the trays designed for?
It’s built specifically for 6x6 inch Rockwool cubes, 1 gallon and 2 gallon coco, soil or soilless mediums.
Can it be used with other substrates?
Yes, it can be used for any medium or pot as long as the size is compatible. and if its to large, or you use a uni slab or 36 inch grow slab you can place multiple trays side by side beneath it to test all areas of the slab.
Is it food-grade or BPA-free?
Yes. Our trays are BPA-free and made for clean, safe growing environments.
📏 Testing & Performance
How does the tray help test runoff more accurately?
It catches runoff directly from the plant medium, giving you a clean, isolated sample to test pH and EC levels from each plant quick and easy.
will my PH and EC meter be compatible with the tray?
Yes. It’s compatible with all brands and types of handheld meters.
How much liquid does it hold?
Each tray holds only 65 ml. of runoff allowing them to dry overnight to avoid long standing stagnate water.
Will my roots be sitting in runoff?
No, the test basin features a tapered edge that allows runoff to easy overflow after reaching the 65 ml. limit. keeping your roots away from the old runoff.
